Psychotherapy & Supervision

As a Latina, Bilingual Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I have had the opportunity to work within a higher education setting and provide confidential and trauma informed care to a diverse population of students including age range
(18 to 70 years old), race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, and nationality. Through a strength-based, person centered, holistic, and evidence-based approach, I have assisted students experiencing various presenting concerns.

In my past and current roles, I have developed and implemented individualized treatment approach to meet the needs of each client. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for students to express and process their feelings and to feel supported through their self-exploration journey. I worked closely with members of my team such as nurse practitioners, doctors, social workers, and family and marriage therapists in developing programs and in supporting clients within a biopsychosocial lens.

I have also acquired experience coordinating the Suicide Prevention program at Dartmouth College and supervising other team members in an outreach programming capacity. As a supervisor, I see the importance of creating spaces that are safe, transparent, creative, and filled with learning opportunities.
